I use to watch Fraggle Rock every Saturday. I don't think they were trying to ride on the popularity and continue to make money; Jim never worked like that. Fraggle rock was a deeper no doubt, but the Muppets where just more fun and likable.

That would totally ruin the feeling of the show.The reason why the show is so special is because they were puppets who seemed so real.They were'nt like cartoons or cgi you could actually touch and feel the warmth put into their character.Although i'm a cartoonist i really see the sweat and dedication put into puppetry.I never really got into the animated version of the Fraggles.
