Please remember to be considerate of other members. i do not know if this is the right forum to post to, but i want to post to help people just incase they are considering Squaretrade as a warranty provider...so i got my laptop from TigerDirect and purchased the squaretrade warranty cause i thought it was a good idea.. Sometimes, it is needed and sometimes it is not...but you never know. I packaged the defective Roku box and dropped it off for shipping.
20 days is nothing compared to what I ran into with some brands. I purchased a refurbished Magellan GPS along with the Squaretrade warranty. I knew the $80 item I purchased on Amazon was prone to breaking down, so the $8 SquareTrade Protection Plan was a good investment; even just getting a partial refund for $68, since it only was about a year and half into the three year warranty period, was a excellent resolution of my situation. I won't go into that here but what I want to talk to about what just how awesome Square Trade is. I'm absolutely getting a SquareTrade warranty for future electronics purchaes.
I also decided to buy warranty for a phone I bought on Prime Day....1st agent told me that since it was 31 days since order I couldn't buy warranty. It had Accidental Coverage too.Is to have a second backup set.

This evening I received a message that my claim had been processed and included in that message was a code to apply to my Amazon account for full amount I originally paid for the Roku box.
