The River boat launch ramp will be on your left, just before the actual canal lock on your right. It is a joint effort of the Manayunk Development Corporation and the East Falls Development Corporation funded by the William Penn Foundation. We would fish and go for raft rides from the edge of the yard about 30 years ago.
It took a bit of effort to paddle upstream back to the landing, but I eventually made it.
